Just got sniped on eBay over a set of new FM springs. I am looking to replace the old ones, instead of spacers. Because I have to disassemble everything anyway, I'd rather not spend the time dicking around with spacers that may not be right. Easier to just get new springs.

Yeah, I'm considering it now. The KYB AGX have less than 1k miles on them, so I'm hesitating. Not sure if I want to just get springs, or go for a completely different setup. I thought this would be the cheap way out, and now I'm kinda regretting it. Maybe if I could sell the current setup to recoup some of the money it would sting less.

I passed on buying another car this weekend after talking it over with the wife. She told me to just fix this one, instead of spending a couple grand on something else (which would probably need work anyway). So, I'm debating sinking more money into this pit, or just fixing it enough to drive without worrying about every pothole and speedbump.

Think I could get anything out of the KYB?

I bet you can sell them with the fm springs for $250-$300, Then you can use that towards a nice coil setup.

Got the Teins in today. Man, those alignment bolts were a royal pain to get out. Spent more time messing with them than the springs themselves.

Sold the old FM springs on clubroadster. I'm taking a huge box of stuff in to work tomorrow to dump in the recycle bins. Stock springs, tophats, some miscelaneous brackets and a coffee can of rusty hardware.

Car is back together! I can lift the back (under the diff) with my heavy duty floor jack, without having to resort to blocks, using the stock scissors jack or any other messing around. Height in back is just under 13". Front is about the same, but it still hasn't settled in, so I'm expecting it to be just a RCH less. No need for a lift! I am a happy camper.
